BRIEF HISTORY

ROC Fencing, is based in Kidderminster in the district of Wyre Forest, (20 minutes from the major M5 & M42 motorway links) and was established in 1986 by Tony Fletcher.

Tony Fletcher

With sixteen years experience in the Concrete Industry, Tony set about establishing ROC Fencing as a leading manufacturer of Concrete Fencing products. In due course the company expanded into producing Timber Fencing Products and more recently Steel Fencing Products. Now, in 2002 with thirty years experience, Tony Fletcher and ROC Fencing continue to go from strength to strength in manufacturing and supplying quality fencing products to the retail, trade and Industry markets.

The company emblem is that of the "Roc", a mythological bird reputedly large enough to pick up an elephant in its talons!

The Utilities Vendor Database is the supplier database used by the UK utility industry to source current and potential suppliers of products, services and works. The UVDB has been in operation since 1995 and is now used by over fifty utilities, covering electricity, water, gas and telecom sectors. The aim of the UVDB service is simple - to provide a single focus point for the collection and sharing of supplier pre-qualification information, reducing costs, time and administrative workload whilst increasing opportunities to both suppliers and utilities.
